Apropos to a news item published by Daily Times on February 3, titled ‘Telehealth App Sehat Kahani playing with patients’ life’, it is clarified that a follow-up investigation of the issues has revealed that the observations made against Sehat Kahani in the report were due to an understanding error. The facts were re-checked with Sehat Kahani team vis-à-vis induction process of the doctors, and the mechanism was found to be satisfactory as well as compliant with the PMDC rules and regulations.
