Three PhD and research students of the Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Thursday gave a series of presentations in the department of economics.
Reportedly, scholars including Shahid Hussain Dahiri, Kewal Talreja and Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh presented their research works on ‘The Analysis of Value Added Tax, Growth and Trade Patterns in Pakistan, Selected South East Asian Countries, The Cost of Production, Technology and Credit Response in terms of per acre yield of dates in Pakistan’, respectively.
Meanwhile, the faculty of social sciences dean Prof Dr Imdad Hussain Sahito highly appreciated them for their outstanding effort and subsequently declared the seminar ‘successful’.
The scholars got themselves registered to acquire guidance from Prof Dr Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, whereas, Prof Dr Parveen Shah and Prof Dr Syed Asad Raza Abidi were their co-guides.
Besides, Prof Dr Imtiaz Pirzada, Prof Firdous Bugti, Prof Dr Farzana Khoso, many scholars and faculty members of the university were also present on the occasion.
